Day 2
Well I stepped on the scale for the first time and my "official" starting weight is 204 pounds.
I set my goal on weight loss at 24 pounds. I am not going to lie the day was rough. I started getting a headache around noon and couldn't shake it until I went to bed that night. I did not take any medicine, call me crazy, but I believed it when I was told that this headache could be due to the fact that I am starting to detox. Anyways, I toughed it out and was happy once I went to bed. I should also mention that I started the program on a Saturday, so Day 2 was Sunday. I am very glad with that choice. I didn't know how this program would affect me so having 2 days with little to no obligations and requirements.
How did I end up trying Isagenics?
Its all my wife's "fault". She is the one who encouraged me to try something new and to see if there is an easier/better way to loose some weight. A good friend of hers originally told her about Isagenics. We trusted this friend and got to Dee first hand what a change her husband went through in just a few weeks.
I never took these programs serious but seeing him change so drastically, loosing weight and gaining muscle, I was intrigued and open to learn a little bit more about this program. From there things went pretty quick. I went to meeting in which the host told us about her experience with Isagenics and where I got to try some samples. A couple phone calls and one on one meetings I placed my first order. I didn't have all the answers yet but I knew enough to believe that it was worth giving a shot.
So in case someone who doesn't know me reads this on day I should probably introduce myself and share a little bit about me. I turned 30 this year am married and have a son who will be 2 years old soon. I grew up with sports and have always lived an active life. I started skiing and Tennis before I turned 5. Tennis turned out to be the sport for me, by the time I was ten I started competing on a state level and stuck with it all the way into college. I ended up at a small Division 1 NCAA college allowing me to competed against the best in the US (and loose every time). After college
I took s break from Tennis (and pretty much all other sports) for almost 3 years. After that break and a move I was ready to get back into it. Since then 4 more years hive passed which included the birth of my son. I am not going to lie the first 12 to 18 month after my son was born were tough. My wife and I didn't get much sleep and working out wasn't really a priority either. Now that life is normal again
I want to get back in shape loose some off those pounds that I gained in last 2 years.
